Fly Ash Brick Plants Are the Newest Thing You Need to Check Out
Fly ash brick is shortly called as FAB. Fly ash brick plant is a plant which manufactures fly ash bricks. Self- cementing bricks are the kind of bricks which contains class C fly ash brick of high concentration of calcium oxide while processing the bricks. This method usually used because it reduces cost by 20% and also reduces mercury pollution. Fly ash brick is a material used for the building which is specially used for masonry units.
These are made up of class C or class F fly ash and it also contains water. It is compressed at 28 Mpa and heated for 24 hours at the temperature of 66 degree Celsius. Usually, the bricks are heated in the steam bath. After steaming the fly ash bricks are steamed at some certain fixed temperature. The next procedure is to toughen the bricks by cooling them. The toughening process is done in the presence of an agent called an air entertainment agent. To properly toughen the bricks, the freezing should be done up to or more than 100 freeze-thaw cycles.
The materials which are used in the making of fly ash bricks are 60% of fly ash, 30% of sand or stone dust and 10% of ordinary Portland cement or lime with gypsum. Fly ash bricks are having the advantage on clay bricks that is the fly bricks are lighter and stronger than clay bricks. The same method is used in hardening of bricks which is used in cement hardening method. There are many types of fly ash brick plants which use different methods for manufacturing of fly ash bricks. They are divided basically on the method of drying of brick, cooling of bricks or materials used for the making of bricks. Some machines are fully automatic and some are semi-automatic and some of the machines are manually worked.
There are various types of fly ash brick machines such as concrete brick making machine in Delhi, electric fly ash brick making machine which works on the voltage range of 240v-320v is located at Dune, high pressure fly ash brick making machine total weight of 3500 kg in Ahmedabad, manual fly ash brick making machine in New Delhi and hydraulic automatic press machine plant in Ahmedabad. The manufacturers or the industries which provide these type of fly ash brick plants are Revomac industries, Hardic Machinery, TARA machines, and Tech services, Vishvakarma creative engineers and Chirag international.
There are many advantages of this ash fly brick plants over other plants. Some of the advantages are fly bricks are light in weight and low absorption of heat and keep the atmosphere cooler which is suitable for Indian conditions. Also, they are in uniform shape with high compressive strength compared to normal bricks. It is very much eco-friendly to use fly ash. There are also some disadvantages using this fly ash bricks such as the bonding is lower due to the smooth finish. Other problems that may occur are the quality check-up and sand needs to be checked up time to time periodically.
